2015EVX Midstream Partners is established in Houston, TX
July 20, 2015 – Five Point Capital Partners LLC (“Five Point”) announced the formation and funding of EVX Midstream Partners (“EVX”), with a $75 million equity commitment from Five Point Capital Midstream Fund II L.P. EVX is focused on the development of crude oil, natural gas, and produced water gathering, processing, treating and transportation assets in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford, and Mid-Continent.
2016EVX Announces Construction of Eagle Ford Water Gathering System
May 2, 2016 – EVX Midstream Partners, LLC (“EVX”) today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to build a produced water gathering system in the Eagle Ford oil window.
2017EVX Announces Eagle Ford Asset Expansion
March 30, 2017 – EVX Midstream Partners, LLC (“EVX”) today announced that it is expanding its Eagle Ford asset base. EVX is constructing additional crude oil gathering infrastructure and has acquired additional strategic SWD facilities.
2018EVX Announces Long-Term Agreements with Leading Independent O&G Producer
September 17, 2018 – EVX to exclusively construct, own and operate produced water gathering and disposal systems across a 6 Million acre area of mutual interest in the central Eagle Ford and Karnes Trough. EVX and Five Point Energy Forming EVX Midstream Partners II, Bringing Total Committed Capital to $450 Million.
2019EVX Announces Eagle Ford Expansion
January 16, 2019 – EVX Midstream Partners, LLC (“EVX”) today announced that it acquired the salt water disposal assets operated by Whitewater Resources in Karnes, Gonzales and Atascosa Counties, Texas. Additionally, EVX has secured permits to drill and construct several new water disposal facilities across the Eagle Ford.

Herb Chambers IV
Herb Chambers IV is President and Chief Executive Officer of EVX. Mr. Chambers has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on corporate, business, finance, operations and sustainable energy development. Prior to EVX he held M&A and business development leadership roles with Energy Transfer, Enterprise, Crestwood and others. Mr. Chambers has a BA in Public Relations and Business from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Technology Commercialization.
Charles J Flynn III, P.E.
Charles J Flynn III is Chief Operating Officer of EVX. Mr. Flynn has over 25+ years of experience in the energy industry with a focus in engineering, construction, operations, HSE and commercial development. Prior to EVX, Charles served in various operations, commercial and technical roles with DCP Midstream, CenterPoint Energy and led operations within midstream and regulated pipeline business units. Mr. Flynn has an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and BA in Mathematics from the University of St. Thomas.
Ben Ahiabor is the Vice President of Engineering and Operations for EVX. Mr. Ahiabor has been in the midstream oil and gas industry for over a decade. During this time in several engineering and operations roles, Mr. Ahiabor has developed, designed, executed, commissioned, and operated over one hundred successful projects and managed roughly one billion dollars’ worth of midstream infrastructure projects across the United States. Mr. Ahiabor has been instrumental in development, leadership, and driving the technical vision for the Engineering and Operational teams. With a keen focus on innovative projects that span across the midstream sector. Mr. Ahiabor graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Petroleum Engineering.
Brian Kellar is Chief Financial Officer of EVX. He has over 15 years of energy finance experience, focusing on the valuation and financing of assets, projects, and companies in the midstream and upstream sectors. Prior to joining EVX, Mr. Kellar served in financial leadership roles at Noble Energy, Marlin Midstream, Spark Energy and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. Mr. Kellar received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from Texas Christian University, and an MS in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Brian Stewart is Senior Vice President of Business Development of EVX. Prior to EVX, he served in various midstream business development roles for Anadarko Petroleum and Enterprise Products Partners. Mr. Stewart earned a BS from Texas A&M University.
Nick Miller is Vice President of Business Development of EVX. Prior to joining EVX, he held a variety of positions at Boardwalk Pipeline partners where he managed Business Development and Commercial Operations on both the Midstream and Downstream sides of the business. Prior to joining Boardwalk Pipeline, he was at Crestwood Midstream where he helped develop and manage the Commercial Operations business unit. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
Mr. Ramey is the VP Finance and Controller of EVX. He has over 10 years of energy industry experience working in various roles and capacities. Since joining EVX in 2018, Mr. Ramey has been responsible for developing and leading EVX’s finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining EVX, Mr. Ramey began his career in the audit practice at PwC before transitioning to Spectra Energy to take a role in Spectra’s U.S. Transmission accounting group. He graduated from Harding University with a BBA in Accounting.
